Presentation

Recent advancements in cabin sensing technologies have unlocked capabilities to understand the cognitive state of the driver. The National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration faces pressure to implement rulemaking in accordance with the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act for a technology that is reaching maturity. Mitsubishi Electric Mobility leverages existing signals from the vehicle as well as their non-contact biosensing capability to implement drunkenness detection without the need for an additional chemical sensor in the vehicle
