Deep Dive: How the MIPI A-PHY standard is enabling next-generation in-cabin monitoring solutions

The technical requirements for sensor-based in-cabin monitoring systems are growing, and in some territories these systems are already becoming legally mandatory. The need to ensure robust data transmission becomes ever more critical, given their safety-related applications. In this session, we will be exploring the various connectivity solutions used for in-cabin monitoring, and will deep dive into the world’s first standardized solution – the MIPI Alliance’s A-PHY technology. We will review five key features of high-performance SerDes for driver monitoring, including EMC robustness, advanced time synchronization capabilities, and cost-effectiveness at the system level.
