A diverse range of interior sensing methods, including cameras, radars, and other alternative sensors are already equipping vehicles on our roads today. To ensure driver safety, these technologies are carefully developed to observe driver and occupants’ actions and physiological responses, allowing for a comprehensive evaluation of their suitability to operate a vehicle. This presentation examines the incorporation of advanced interior sensing technologies to assess the driver’s ability to drive in real-time, with the ultimate goal of enhancing road safety and transportation efficiency.
