Bringing radar sensors into automotive sensor fusion systems requires moving the radar signal
processing from the distributed edge nodes to centralized co-processing with camera data. This
change in processing location drives new connectivity requirements between the radar edge nodes and
the central ADAS compute module. This presentation will focus on the connectivity requirements for
centralized radar architectures and design considerations for SerDes links including bandwidth and
synchronization capabilities.
