InCabin

Presentation

In recent years discussions about the future of in-cabin sensing have been dominated by vendors of radar-based systems to the exclusion of everyone else. However, two important developments are causing OEMs to reconsider:

Firstly – severe limits to the efficacy of radar, especially in edge cases, are becoming well understood; and secondly, until now there simply was not an effective, low power, low cost tactile sensing platform that integrates easily into the cabin.

But Brighter Signals has now released a new multi-modal sensor platform that changes the game: our patented technology, made entirely of fabrics, detects force, position and proximity, as well as distinguishes human v objects, all in real time, and at very low power and cost.

OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers are adopting our sensors to work – together with cameras, ultra wideband and audio systems – to create a superior sensor fusion solution for emerging safety and future comfort applications.
