This presentation will discuss the need for high dynamic range sensing, pupil detection and accurate colour reproduction, all essential for accurate interior car monitoring applications. Real image captures using the OMNIVISION OX05C1S 5MP global shutter sensor will be used to provide data which can be applied to possible metrics to generate objective data as well as assessing the images subjectively. The presentation will conclude with a look at future directions and emerging trends in the in-cabin space.
