Session Track: Interactive

Tinker Lab

InCabin

USA

Presentation

This interactive workshop introduces participants to TinkerCAD, offering a practical, hands-on session in rapid design and prototyping. Lead by Alex Polonsky, former racing driver, NASA engineer, founder of the Detroit Autonomous Vehicle Group, and currently AI Systems Lead Engineer at Brose, who will guide attendees through the fundamentals of creating and visualising components in a simple, accessible CAD environment.

Designed for engineers, the workshop shows how TinkerCAD can be used to create functional designs, run simple simulations, and prepare models for 3D printing. Whether applied to real-world engineering challenges or creative side projects, the session highlights how quick iteration and digital tools can accelerate problem-solving and innovation.

Please bring a laptop to participate in the session.
