Abdul Salam A is a Lead ADAS Platform Hardware Systems Engineer with more than 20 years of experience in automotive electronics, ADAS sensing systems, embedded hardware, and functional safety. His technical background spans multi-sensor perception architectures, in-cabin sensing platforms, automotive ECU development, signal and power integrity, and ISO 26262-compliant system design for next-generation intelligent vehicles.
He has contributed to the development of advanced sensing and safety-critical electronic systems across OEM and Tier-1 automotive programs and has presented technical work at SAE and IEEE conferences on topics related to AI-assisted diagnostics, sensing reliability, functional safety, and distributed automotive architectures. Abdul is also an active peer reviewer, conference judge, and technical contributor within the automotive and intelligent transportation research community. He actively serves as a judge and reviewer for leading technology and innovation platforms including CES Innovation Awards and Sensors Converge, and contributes as a reviewer and editorial participant for internationally reputed journals, conferences, and professional organizations including IEEE, SAE, and other global research publications.
