Diego Val

Diego Val is Head of Research Programs – New Solutions & Technologies in the Innovation
Department at Antolin, with 20 years of experience in automotive R&D. He has extensive
experience leading consortium-based research projects at both European and national levels,
focused on innovative solutions for the vehicle interior of the future, including AI-driven
systems, thermal comfort, air quality, and cabin sanitization technologies. He currently leads
the GENIUS project, which explores the analysis of drivers’ cognitive and emotional states to
design safer, healthier, and more adaptive vehicle interiors.
