About Oliver Lange

Dr. Oliver Lange leads the Interior Sensing Tech Domain at Bosch Research and the Bosch Center for Artificial Intelligence (BCAI). As a Senior Expert in Computer Vision and Interior Sensing, his research interests include vision-based multi-view perception, end-to-end AI systems, and novel approaches for safe and comfortable interior-aware automated driving.

He supervises multiple international research projects on radar, video, and audio-based in-cabin sensing and is focused on transferring new AI-based innovations into Bosch’s interior sensing products. He holds more than 40 patents and patent applications in the fields of radar and visual perception for ADAS and interior sensing.

Dr. Lange received his Dipl.-Ing. degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Theory from Kiel University in 2008 and his Dr.-Ing. degree from the University of Stuttgart in 2011, where his PhD research focused on radar antenna array optimization for ADAS.
