Emotion3D: Advanced Driver Monitoring & Safety Features
emotion3D demo

At InCabin USA 2025, Emotion3D’s demo will showcase a variety of features encompassing active safety, passive safety and user experience. It will have a strong focus on Euro NCAP (including 2026 protocols) and GSR conform features, which gives attendees the chance to experience a range of features within their DOMS system.

Some notable features include;

  • Driver distraction & drowsiness
  • Emotion and gesture recognition as well as legs on dashboard and distance to airbag.

With their advanced algorithms, they able to analyze a 3D view derived from the 2D image, which enables them to achieve these different features within a single system.

Neumo: Contactless EEG Sensor for Real-Time Driver Monitoring

Neumo will showcase their groundbreaking contactless EEG sensor (NBM)—a cutting-edge technology seamlessly embedded in the headrest to measure real-time attention, fatigue, impairment, and health & wellness metrics without requiring direct contact.

Their live demo will highlight how the NBM sensor detects brain waves and translates them into meaningful driver insights. Installed in a headrest, the sensor captures EEG signals from the driver’s or passenger’s head, which are then processed in real-time by their system.

From this neurodata, it enables them to assess key cognitive and physiological attributes, including a real-time attention score (1-10), providing a glimpse into how brain activity can improve driving safety.

Realtime Technologies: RDS-1000 Research Driving Simulator

New at InCabin USA, Realtime Technologies will be showcasing their RDS-1000 Research Driving Simulator. The RDS-1000 has the smallest footprint for real-vehicle equipment, including a real steering wheel with control, loaded steering, real accelerator, and brake pedals, along with a fully customizable virtual dashboard. The RDS-1000 features a quarter cab design with a standard 205-degree horizontal field of view and 38-degree vertical field of view, using 65 inch displays.

Powering the simulator, they will demonstrate SimCreator: Modular Sandbox for research. SimCreator is an endlessly extensible modular sandbox for research with a robust SDK that allows for mixing and matching third-party integrations. It supports a wide range of hardware and software solutions. Users can edit, compile, and run custom vehicle models, as well as other user customizations, as part of the product. User scripts enable integrating third-party components that require bidirectional data transfer through SimCreator. Read/write (get/set) access is provided to data with SimCreator via the user script to support full and rich integration of those components through C++ or Javascript code.
