Senior Researcher
Christer Ahlström is a senior researcher at the Swedish National Road and Transport Research Institute (VTI) and an associate professor at Linköping University. His work focuses on biomedical engineering aspects of driver state research, including fatigue, inattention, and workload. He specializes in physiological measurements, signal processing, and data analysis. Intrigued by interdisciplinary collaborations that bridge the gap between technology, medicine, and behavioural science. With an MSc in Computer Science and Engineering and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering, he brings over 20 years of experience from 100+ research projects involving academia, industry, institutes, and authorities.
