Javier Ibanez-Guzman

Dr. Javier Ibañez-Guzmán earned his M.S.E.E. from the University of Pennsylvania on a Fulbright Scholarship and his Ph.D. from the University of Reading on a SERC-UK Fellowship. In 2011, he was a Visiting Scholar at UC Berkeley working on connected vehicle applications. He is currently a corporate expert on autonomous systems at Renault S.A. Previously, he served as a Senior Scientist at SimTech and an Adjoint Associate Professor at NTU, pioneering work on autonomous ground vehicles. Dr. Ibañez-Guzmán holds patents and publications in robotics and automotive fields and is a C.Eng (UK). and IEEE Life member.
