Autonomy Principal Research Analyst
Michele is a Principal Research Analyst at S&P Global Mobility, leading the research for Autonomy in Europe.
Michele specializes in the areas of automated driving. He works as analyst researching mobility and automotive technologies with a focus on advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), sensors and related industry trends. Complementary research includes technical topics from standards to safety protocols, mandates and regulations, cost, pricing and consumer adoption.
Before joining S&P, He worked for +12 years in the ADAS design field for the industry: at Stellantis as Global Technical Leader, Performance Manager for Maserati, Functional Integrator for FCA and Research & Development for Marelli since 2010. He has extensive experience facilitating dialogue between international carmakers (OEM), major automotive suppliers and tech companies, converging to the most scalable technical solutions and developing autonomous driving strategies.
Key Expertise: ADAS Functional Integration design (OEM perspective), ADAS performance benchmarking and target definition in compliance with EuroNCAP objective & mandated regulations (such as GSR), technical project management and Automated driving legislation, strategies and sensors roadmap.
Previously Michele graduated with honours as Electronic Engineer from Politecnico di Torino. He is based in Torino (Italy) and speaks fluently English, Portugues and of course Italian.
