InCabin Europe | 22-24 September 2026 | Barcelona, Spain
At InCabin Europe 2026, the exhibition will be filled with state-of-the-art technologies being showcased by industry leaders.
We recently gave you a sneak peek into what you could expect to see from Anyverse, Brighter Signals, Calterah, Magna, NXP, and OpenGMSL, but we’ve now got even more to show you.
Take a look below at what you’ll see from Aptiv, Deep-In-Sight, Embedded AI, indie, Infineon, OMNIVISION, and Smart Eye…
Advancing Interior Sensing with AI and Synthetic Data
Today’s consumers expect the cabin to do more than meet safety requirements. They want vehicles that understand the occupants, anticipate their needs and respond intelligently — creating experiences that are safer, smarter and distinctly more personal.
At InCabin Europe 2026, visitors to Space 11 will see how Aptiv’s AI/ML-powered interior sensing platform gives vehicles a deeper understanding of cabin conditions — providing the intelligent, future-ready foundation for safer and more differentiated experiences.
Experience Advanced Occupancy Classification (AOC), Aptiv’s breakthrough vision-based occupant detection software. Using a single interior camera, AOC accurately distinguishes adults, children, infants and objects while informing safe airbag deployment decisions. By replacing complex in-seat hardware, it can reduce system cost by up to 40%, simplify vehicle architecture and open new possibilities for cabin design — all while delivering regulatory-grade performance aligned with FMVSS 208 and Euro NCAP requirements.
Aptiv will also showcase its In-Cabin Synthetic Data Generation platform, transforming how OEMs train, test and validate driver and cabin monitoring systems. By creating highly customizable synthetic data and virtual cabin scenarios that accurately reflect real-world conditions, the platform enables scalable, regulator-ready testing, helping reduce validation costs by up to 70%, accelerate time-to-market and confidently prepare for the next generation of safety requirements.
Visit Aptiv at Space 11 and see how AI-powered interior sensing can transform the cabin from a monitored space into an intelligent environment that understands, adapts and responds.
As part of Embedded AI’s X-UWB platform, this demo showcases a multi-antenna UWB array based on NXP’s NCJ29D6. Advanced signal processing estimates direction and position of reflected signals for real-time localization and motion sensing.
The demo showcases that a combination of ranging and radar powered by X-UWBâ„¢, called ‘Interleaved Ranging’ recognises a kick gesture at the frunk or trunk of the car and verifies that against the users position, allowing fail-safe hands-free access to the vehicle.
At indie’s booth #201, an immersive demo will showcase our emotion3D cabin monitoring system in action, detecting driver and passenger in real time with accurate eye-gaze tracking and OMS performance even under challenging conditions like low-resolution cameras and wide fields of view.
Attendees will also see our emotion3D DMS software stack running on indie’s newest in-house vision processing SoC, the iND881, demonstrating the deep integration and end-to-end optimization that power next-generation automotive applications.
High-Performance Automotive Radar Evaluation Module for Edge and Centralized Architectures
This demonstration showcases Infineon’s CARKIT radar modules and software package, enabling fast
deployment of state‑of‑the‑art automotive radar on any vehicle. The solution combines waterproof,
vehicle‑mountable hardware with an open development platform and PC visualization tools to
accelerate data collection, algorithm development, and concept evaluation for edge and centralized
radar architectures. The demonstration generates a real‑time high‑definition radar point cloud
overlaid on a video feed.
Advanced Image Sensor Innovations at OMNIVISION Booth #100
See for yourself why OEMs are betting on OMNIVISION for their next-generation vehicles. At our booth, you’ll get hands-on with four sensors solving the toughest problems in exterior and in-cabin imaging — from motion blur at night to millimeter-tight design constraints.
- OX08D (8MP, TheiaCel™) — See Through the Dark, Without the Blur
- OX03G (3MP, PureCel®Plus HDR) — Single-Pixel Low Light, Plastic-Housing Ready
- OX05C1S (5MP, Global Shutter HDR) — The Industry’s First for In-Cabin
The first 5MP global shutter HDR sensor built for DMS/OMS — a genuine industry milestone. Nyxel® NIR technology keeps driver monitoring sharp in near-dark conditions, while a package 30% smaller than its predecessor opens up camera placements that simply weren’t possible before.
- OX03H (3MP, TheiaCel™) — 140 dB of Dynamic Range, One Exposure
At booth #305 during InCabin Europe, Smart Eye will demonstrate multimodal Iris + Face Authentication designed for the vehicle cabin. Using a single automotive-grade in-cabin camera, the technology combines face and iris recognition to verify driver identity in under one second, without requiring the driver to do anything differently. Fusing the two signals brings the false match rate down to around 1 in a billion, supporting personal driver profiles, in-car payments and protection against unauthorized vehicle use. Biometric templates are processed on-device, with no raw images stored. Visitors can also hear from Smart Eye’s Gabriel Hine, who will take the stage on Thursday, September 24 at 11:00 CEST to show how Smart Eye made iris recognition work with low-resolution in-cabin cameras.
