Aptiv Demonstrates AI/ML-Based Interior Sensing Platform
Demanding consumers expect more than just compliance-driven sensing. It’s time to move to an intelligent, future-ready foundation to build safer and more differentiated in-cabin experiences.
At this year’s show, that foundation will be on display at stand 20 at the Atrium, where Aptiv will showcase an innovative sensing platform that fundamentally changes how vehicles understand and respond to conditions inside the cabin.
The system features driver and cabin monitoring functionality that uses AI and machine learning to enable smarter safety decisions, cleaner architectures, and a more streamlined in-cabin design.
Imagine a system that detects driver distraction and drowsiness, sees occupants, determines whether seat belts are used properly, and observes whether occupants are out of position. Such a system could enable a vehicle to meet current and upcoming global safety standards – including Euro NCAP 2026 and FMVSS 208 – and it could also enable numerous applications to enhance comfort and convenience for the passengers.
Visitors will be able to see this system in a live demonstration and get a peek into the next generation of in-cabin sensing.

The Cirrus Logic seat haptics demo brings new features exclusively to InCabin 2026 attendees, with an increased emphasis on the immersive audio experience. Featuring 10 channels of high-definition haptics, the demo allows occupants to experience spatial haptics for ADAS system alerts, as well as our newly released audio-to-haptics (A2H) demo. This includes SVC* wideband haptics augmentation with an additional audio signal path through the seat’s haptic surfaces, enabling your body to sense and experience the content while your ears hear the audio.
The full demo includes music tracks, movie and gaming elements, along with novel A2H use cases that will inspire your next InCabin immersive experience, enhancing audio enjoyment through touch.
